These upgraded products include designs not available at retail, come in all finishes, feature all metal parts and industrial valves plus include supply nuts and tools for easy, hassle-free installation.
Professional Grade also includes a value line of products for homebuilders and has even created specialty products for custom homebuilders and the hospitality industry.

1930
“Make a Shower” gives consumers the option of easily converting a bath to a shower.
1950
Pfister unveils its Crown Jewel Line, renowned for being easier to install, more functional and more durable than other faucets.
1960
The Flowmatic shower handle allows fingertip control of water temperature and volume.
1980
With the Pforever Seal™, Price Pfister becomes the first major manufacturer to convert to ceramic cartridge technology on all product lines, offering a lifetime guarantee against leaks and drips.
1988
All Price Pfister faucets comply with the nation’s first lead standard, NSF/ANSI Standard 61.
1997
The Pfilter Pfaucet redefines the entire water filter industry by integrating a filter into the spout of faucet and introduces The Pforever Warranty, covering finish and function for life.

2006
Price Pfister partners with Kwikset, the leading door hardware manufacturer, to introduce the Architecturally Inspired Collections™, making it easy to coordinate complete room looks.
2007
Trade exclusive Professional Grade is introduced, offering a complete line of kitchen and bath faucets and accessories crafted with the eco-friendly standards, quality, innovation, ease of installation and forward designs.
Price Pfister partners with the Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense Program to certify water-conserving faucets without sacrificing performance for users.
2008
Ashfield, Kenzo and Saxton lavatory faucets meet EPA WaterSense water-saving standards.
Price Pfister also introduces select lead-free faucets, including Avalon Eco-Pfriendly 4” Centerset lavatory faucet and Clairmont Eco-Pfriendly Pull-down kitchen faucet, once again at the forefront of compliance standards.

Design
At Price Pfister, our design philosophy is customer-centric. Today’s customers are style savvy, concerned about conservation and are looking for innovative products that are attractive, functional and backed by a lifetime guarantee. Every design we create is based on this “customer first” criteria.
Our design team works in close collaboration with the Price Pfister marketing and engineering teams. This synergistic process improves product design by allowing a quicker response to marketing research about customer needs, likes and dislikes, and by working closely with engineering to continually add innovative features to new designs. Leading edge design programs and the latest software tools allow our talented designers to create more freely and to bring ideas to market more quickly. The design team’s responsiveness, flexibility and adaptability are evident in every Price Pfister design.
The Designers
Our designers are based at our Black & Decker headquarters in Lake Forest, California. California has long been the mecca of forward thinking design - from automotive to aeronautics to computers to fashion. The Price Pfister design team hails from many illustrious design companies: Disney Imagineering, Nissan, Toyota, K-Swiss and Reef, to name a few. One of our designers even won a design challenge on HGTV. But our designers all have one thing in common: an insatiable desire to create functionally beautiful pieces. It is often said that Price Pfister products offer the most design at the best value.
Inspiration
Our design team gathers its inspiration from current trends in interior design, architecture, living trends, lighting and fashion. And draws from a deep knowledge of design styles throughout history. Rather than create “cookie cutter” designs, they strive to create artisanal designs, with many hand wrought cues in form and finish.
We believe our designs are “jewelry for the home.” Our products are the finishing touches to a room, complementing a look with the satisfaction that says it’s just right.
